Finally - A pull through charger

Traveling back to Seattle are from Portland, I stumbled across a pull through charger. It was a Tesla Charger in Rochester Washington. Although it is easy enough to take off the trailer when needing to charge it is a pain.

this one was made easier for my largish rig because there were only a few stalls in use

I came across one in north Hudson, NY. It is great as there is a restaurant there as well. Good burgers. Perfect place to charge up before we take the boat out.
it is an EVolve NY so not cheap. There are Tesla superchargers there too but they are not pull through.
I didn’t take a pic when I was there though.

The RAN chargers in Cookeville, TN are all pull-through. One of them is designated for "trailers only" so you don’t block a charger.

Rivian Benton Harbor MI also has a pull through

What’s your efficiency pulling that? If you have data you want to share, include highway speed and ambient temp if you can. I’m super-curious.

Thought I would share the trailer pull I did last year. Truck does look small here.

The Rivian dashboard says the trailer is about 8000 lbs. it reports the average consumption when pulling the trailer (about 3,000 miles so far) is 1.16

Fairly hilly around here in the Pacific Northwest so that affects it. I try to ensure I stay between 55 and 60 on the freeway.

it helps that I am an old man who is not in a hurry and needs pee breaks at least every 2 hours.
