Camp speaker actually being used while camping 😎

A quick little 3 night getaway to a NC state park an easy 75 mile drive from home. Listening to contemporary jazz on the (very useful and much derided) camp speaker. Will turn off in a bit to listen to the whip-o-wills. Campsite has a 30 and 50 amp service, charge the truck and run the camper. Being retired and camping Sunday night to Wednesday is nice.

Bravo! I used mine on a camping trip last week, too! I have found the speaker to be rather hit-or-miss. However, it seems to matter how I remove it from its dock. If I sit in the driver’s seat, step on the brake as if to drive the car, and then pull out the speaker, It comes out with that telltale “bloom!” sound that says that it’s awake.

neat. The Count has never used his. He almost did last month but decided to not break precedent.
