@SwampNut: My wife and I log odometer mileage at the end of each driving day, for tax purposes.

I never saw any benefit to Rivian from placing the odometer mileage deep into the software.

But now I do! The benefit of annoying me is that this way, they don't annoy you! ?

I appreciate your many contributions to this forum anyway.... Very best wishes!
My wife and I also use our vehicles for business and want the odometer more accessible. My GM vehicle has a customizable driver display, and everything asked for on this thread is available to be displayed there plus a few other things.

I honestly thought this was a zombie thread somebody resurrected. All of these are in different displays; play with your buttons, read the manual, and swipe around.
Like maybe OP bought a used vehicle that's the last one still on 2023.42?

I agree that the driver’s display could use some tuning. I don’t think it necessarily needs a whole bunch of info cluttering up the whole display. However, at the least, I would like to see more options for the current customizable space, so that the driver can choose the data that most fits their needs. Honestly, none of the current customizable options do much for me. For safety reasons, any critical data that can placed right in front of the driver should be. The center display is nice, but it too often takes the driverā€˜s eyes off the road. Not cool.

The correct answer IMO is "complications":

There are designated hotspots on the screen (4 corners plus sides for example)

and then in the main screen you can customize and choose your layout ala:

Compass top right
Trip/odo bottom right
power Left
etc etc

or have a couple preconfigured layout options A/B/C

those who want minimalism can toggle it off
those who like information bombardment can enable it

I'm honestly curious: why not use the app to grab the current mileage? Would it not be easier and quicker to screenshot the mileage at the beginning and end of the drive then document it later?

I like the less is more approach to the driver screen...a clean look is nice. That being said however, it would be nice to have the ability to increase the font size for those of us who are at the "where's my reading glasses" stage of life so we can quickly read things like battery %, or a driver notification, at a glance.
Too funny. I was literally telling my wife last night that she needs to remind me to make an appointment at the eye doctor soon as I was having issues making out the % remaining on my battery icon…

I would like the ability to move some things around since, as @COdogman pointed out, the steering wheel blocks my view of the top portion of the screen.

Here is what you have to document, so we keep a paper spreadsheet with these columns in our vehicles and write stuff down the old fashioned way. It is very easy.

I wish the mini map on the driver display had street names. It used to but for some reason they removed them in one of the updates. I really liked that feature so I could keep the music screen up on the main display and use the mini map to see where I'm going. I'd also like to have a much bigger map option on the driver display, again for the same reason.

I just want a freaking clock there, is that t00 much to ask? (asking for a friend)
Yes, a clock, and in a font large enough to read. And also the important stuff (e.g. percentage battery) should be larger, too.
And those warning windows that pop up for half a second - make them last a longer, or make them huge. When I am concentrating on traffic I don't always have time, in that half second interval (or however long it is) to focus on that little window, before it disappears.
