Not the company I work for though. I did the yellow fogs last night and added matte screen protectors. I have the full TWRAPS PPF kit, but the way they arranged the sheets it's going to be daunting just getting started. I wanted to do the front bumper and ahead of the A-pillars first, then the tailgate. But some of those bits are on the Driver/Passenger sheets. Oh well, I'll get it done.
Cool, I was thinking of doing the top of my tailgate with the TWRAPS PPF and I will look into the yellow fogs! I like how they look lit, but not so much when they aren't turned on. I wanted to get the front of the car PPF but just couldn't justify the $2500 to get it done aftermarket (this is a truck, afterall, and will take on a few bumps/bruises) but just like the gear tunnel doors the tailgate gets a lot of usage so that makes sense and the top piece is only $45.
The amount of cars I drive by in a daily basis they have all their windows tinted in Colorado is absolutely insane so I wouldn’t worry too much
I’ve had 20% on the front windows of every vehicle I’ve ever owned, including my R1T. Highly unlikely you’d ever get stopped for it. If you get pinched for speeding or something else, a cop in a bad mood might tack it on as a fix it ticket. I’ve never had any issues.
I think I’ve seen that Saab out on the road and I assumed it was a Datsun or something. I had no idea it was a Saab. Pretty cool!Cars and Coffee was pretty damn good this weekend. Three R1Ts and and R1S. We also had a Nissan Ariya and Sondors motorcycle.
Lots of very cool ICE cars as well. I’ve never seen a Dino (silver sports car) in the flesh and I didn’t even know that the Saab Sonnet (red sports car) existed.
Anyways, this was the best attended C&C since last September. It was packed. If you come next month, get there around 7am if you can..
That seems to be the nature of the store. Empty one day and jam packed the next. Some folks just kept hitting f5 after getting access.
I did not contact them. I was projected delivery of July - Sept 2023 before I changed my interior color to Forest Edge. I got my reserved configuration other than my purchase has the Black 20" wheels and no PPF.
