Cameras Periodically Stop Working

My cameras periodically stop working. Over past 6 months, the soft resets usually don't work. Most times the hard reset does not work. I've found a few times the hard reset instantly works. Sometimes the truck can go to sleep and I come back the next morning and the cameras start working again. I did put in a ticket 2 to 3 months ago and closed it as the cameras started working again. I'm not 3 days in a row again with no cameras and resets are not working.

Is this happening to anyone else, any ideas to fix this?

I am having the exact same experience. The car is due for service soon to address this. My understanding is that all the cameras are daisy-chained and that when one camera is defective or about to die, it takes the whole system down. So the only way to permanently fix is to identify the wonky camera and replace it.

I wonder if these cameras can be upgraded to a higher resolutions. Let me know what part numbers are shown in your bill after they replace your wonky cameras.

Same experience and had to go quite some time without them due to service waits. They ended up replacing a camera and recalibrating the cameras. Nice to have them back.

Both my front and back quit abruptly overnight in the garage. Service over the phone says it is just a part to replace and they have plenty of them. It needs to be fixed at a service center though because of getting g to the part and recalibration. Minneapolis service center was great on one other occasion. Going up next week.
Mine was picked up at the factory July 2022. Now they are finding out how good their outsourced components are and will seek to improve the parts as the company becomes aware of the failures. All to be expected I guess.

Happening to me too! 2023 R1S, picked up in November. First time it happened was when I washed my car (day after), then 12 hours later started working again. Just happened again at noon today and this time it is pouring rain so thought it may have something to do with water ingress but seeing as it’s a common thing maybe not!? Let us know what you figure out!
