Not sure how that thread tied into what i was asking, but it was interesting none the less, thanks.
Because it shows an aftermarket caliper cover... which is what you asked for?

Questions:

1) Do the covers have the same thermal expansion coefficient as the calipers themselves - for both cold and hot material expansion/contraction?

2) Do they retain heat more due to calipers itself not getting cooler air for convection heat transfer under hard use? (I realize with regen these brakes really don't get used a lot but still it has functional usage - e.g., track or canyon twists)

3) Do they just clip on or bonded onto the calipers?

Just curious about them. I have a yellow calipers so I have no need but did not know such a thing existed. I thought that they needed to be powdercoated in desired color.

I got mine at Auto Accessories Garage for my other Branded cars, I called them and they don’t have Rivian at this time. I don’t know any other place that has them.
