Those Forest Service folks sure do know how to understate things….

The incident could have been avoided, the Forest Service’s release said, if the “driver of the Cybertruck had a better understanding of the topographical feature indicated on our maps, practiced Leave No Trace principles, and generally been more prepared.” It’s unclear from the video how the Cybertruck got there in the first place or, as several commenters pointed out, whether the driver had equipped the car for winter travel.

TBH, that was a huge xmas tree weighing down the dumpster truck. Few, if any, other vehicles could have even carried that size of a tree.

We are going to see a lot of this with the CT in the future. IMO a lot of CT buyers will be 1st time truck buyers, 1st time offroaders doing it spur of the moment with zero planning, and think offroading in a CT is just like a video game - 'cuz that's what it looks like. "It can pull near infinite mass! It can cross lakes and seas! It's bullet proof! It's got an indestructible exoskeleton! It's got massive Extreme AT tires! It's got lockers! What could go wrong!" The vehicle does not get stuck, the driver gets the vehicle stuck.

But when they inevitably get stuck the first time and need help, they won't have recovery gear, and it doesn't have recovery hooks on the front.
