Updated last night. Today, car seems sluggish. Acceleration from 0-30 seems the same, but over that it seems much much less peppy. Anyone else having this issue?

Edited to say—-Battery was 38 degrees, performance was sluggish. When I preconditioned up to 59 degrees everything was back to normal.

I wasn’t able to tell much difference personally on all purpose mode. Lately I keep in sport, low setting, soft ride and like it. Throttle response is great.

Is your battery cold? Are you putting the throttle on the floor?

Rumor has it if you: 1) put your left foot FIRMLY on the big pedal in the middle of the drivers footwell; 2), plant your right foot just as firmly on the skinny pedal just to the right of that big pedal; 3) wait about a second, then quickly remove your left foot, some seriously quick things will happen.

Just a rumor though....

The model X driver next to me yesterday evening found out there is no change in acceleration, and quickly decided he didn’t want to play anymore. The only thing I’ve noticed is that I used to be able to still keep some pressure on the pedal while stopped. That same amount of pressure is now a slight creep. So the dead zone in the pedal sweep is now smaller. All purpose mode.

Ability to accelerate is the same. But throttle mapping may have been tweaked (because of persistent complaints about low speed drivability from people who have trouble with modulation). Throttle pedal dead zone is a safety strategy all manufacturers employ; ICE too. They also do it for the clutch pedal for MT cars.

Rivian did not short change you on performance.

… and that, folks, is how you give yourself a weeklong dizzy spell if you’re me and you just had Covid.

Seems OP asked a question and wasn't making a complaint?
It was phrased in such as away as he was ready to complain about an apparent lack of acceleration.

My second day of ownership, I saw stars in all-purpose at a metered on-ramp. Didn’t even touch the brake pedal. Mashed on throttle to about 60% from auto-hold. Smack my cranium against the headrest. Did not expect response to be so quick and violent. And that was OTA 2023.26. That day I learned to respect the power.

Didn't notice any changes at all to acceleration.
