I thought that maybe seeing that was just me.That truck has a serious gangster lean.Glad they didn’t send one with that passenger side lean…
There was a rivian involved in a rollover (can't remember if the post was here or on Reddit), and the truck appeared to be in quite good shape considering. Still very much looked like a truck.I was hoping I’d have my R1S before this test was done and my wife found out about it. I’m cautiously optimistic with a touch of pessimism that makes me think for some weird reason that the Rivian won’t perform as adequately as I’m hoping for, especially in rollover testing based on the candy glass that’s being used up there. Time will tell, and I’ll cross my fingers it’s a positive outcome and achieves high ratings across the board.
They do specify that the pickup is "up first" - so I would assume they have both.Oooh I’ve been wondering when IIHS would test Rivian. Any insight into when R1S will get tested?
This was posted in a Seattle car club group recently too. I’m not sure if it rolled, or what. There was a rivian involved in a rollover (can't remember if the post was here or on Reddit), and the truck appeared to be in quite good shape considering. Still very much looked like a truck.
Yeah, what the hell???Glad they didn’t send one with that passenger side lean…
That one still looks pretty good too. And yes, it definitely rolled over. This was posted in a Seattle car club group recently too. I’m not sure if it rolled, or what.

this isn’t some 1 of 5 built by gnomes in a cave in the alps limited production vehicle, it’s a mass market pickup & SUV.I know this is for the good of everyone. The test results will give Rivian information on how to improve their crashworthiness.
However, so few have been produced and it makes me sad that some are being crashed intentionally.
