4.01 kWh club

There was a post asking about the max m/kWh shown on the left of the drivers display.

as was discussed you can get to 4.01. Why the specific extra one hundredth? Who knows. But it feels good when you max that out you KNOW you have had a great 15 minutes of downhill driving (usually paid for with extremely low m/kWh previously)

so here it is a post to toast such a random thing. I wonder how small of a mountain this actually works on. This last time I was coming off of the sound end of Mt St Helens. After doing some hiking.

It does not need to be a high mountain. I can see it frequently going east on I-10 from the Beaumont dropping down into Coachella Valley.

I am curious. If you do a section of road where you reach this maximum on the 15 minute graph what do the trip details show? Obviously, you actually probably exceeded 4.01; so do trip details show 4.01 or something greater.

Of course, you would have to reset the trip details immediately before beginning the downhill drive/coast.

I would test this myself except no nearby mountains, unfortunately.

I am curious. If you do a section of road where you reach this maximum on the 15 minute graph what do the trip details show? Obviously, you actually probably exceeded 4.01; so do trip details show 4.01 or something greater.

I've never seen over 4.01 even when in constant regen for 15+ minutes. It seems to cap the display there (at least for me/my driving modes). The "true" efficiency should be ∞ mi/Wh
