Long trip coming up that will force the kids to the back. Anyone have a recommendation on a 3rd row tablet(ipad mini) to use for the 3rd row?

The second row headrests don’t increase in height. That one won’t work. I’ll keep looking

They do, you just have to depress the tabs. I pull them up all the time to route the anchor strap through.

My kids each came with 2 iPad holders pre-installed at the factory. Each holder has 5 articulated bits that clamp down on the iPad very firmly. The grip is so secure that it is really the main downside, it is nearly impossible to remove the iPad from those holders when I want it back. Often I just have to wait until they automatically release when the battery dies.

I assumed that the dual iPad mounts were standard equipment. If your kids also came equipped with built in iPad holders you should test them out before spending money on something else.

I'm mostly joking, but I really do think that my kids would hate not being able to hold their iPads. When they are not using them, they place them in the 3rd row armrest cubbies.

Does yours lock at a higher height? Mine is just unlock and then it’s loose.

Yea, I’m specifically denying the ability to use it as an iPad while we are on the road. At least while they’re still young.
