Oh just to update folks. I originally had to go to Tustin to get mine purchased and installed (there's a post about it somewhere). For the last two tire rotations, I was able to go Yorba Linda as they now support Rivian vehicles.
Oh nice, I've been in the area before for business. Have you stopped by the BMW Zentrum before? https://share.google/0PZsXnXnY5uLl9nYC
There's also the BMW Performance Center if you are interested. But the Zentrum is def. worth a stop.
@Donald Stanfield which SC is this? Really curious because I'm about to go back into service for the third time this year (all for minor items).
My local SC is Costa Mesa and I've unfortunately been there quite a bit (but all for minor non-drivetrain related issues). Costa Mesa gets a bad rap...
Annoyingly just got the car back for two quick service visits for minor issues and now I'm experiencing something I don't think I've seen mentioned on the forums. When the ventilated seats are enabled on the driver seat, I'll hear a repetitive creaking sound followed by a burble. I didn't think...
Wow, he did a great job. Given the proximity to the folded edge to the right and bottom above the tail light, it looks great. Paint damage also doesn't look as bad, assume the original photos had some residue from the hit that was cleaned up. SUPER IMPRESSIVE that it took under two hours. I...
The elastic straps w/ hooks? I just pulled it deep enough to hook to any harness present. Not great as they do tend to fall off if the kids pull the cover down. Will look into a better spot to hook later. I also hooked the middle straps that technically should go around front into the rear seat...
Been pretty good. I have four of them across the two vehicles. Only one has had some of the stitching fall apart on the right cupholder (due to my daughter constantly using her heel to pull it down).
I had the same issue and couldn't figure it out the night the R1S updated. Did a hard reset and waited all night. Still didn't work. I knew the app was working because I could still operate the windows, HVAC, charge port, etc.
Next morning I had my wife try to turn on the Halloween mode from...
You should double check that Costco will actually install the 115 load rating ones vs. the 119 version which they likely need to order in.

Curious why?
Been looking at both 992.1 and Taycan CTs. Taycan would be better for the family and allow me to still make use of my solar to charge. Though 992.1 manual would be more fun and hold value (not that I'm buying either for resale value).
Concrete tiles common all across SoCal. Unsure about slate but given our location, installers deal with solar on concrete all the time. Since my roof was over 20 years old (almost 26 years), had the company do a tile lift and relay w/ Boral TileSeal underlayment. Didn't bother replacing the...
I'm not in the area but saw @kanundrum's post and just wanted to say... great choice of hardware!
Installed 38x of that combo back in December (but took until April to PTO  ).
Back in late January, finally took the car in to follow up on the subframe "issue". Enclosed in quotes as the noise had miraculously disappeared the weeks leading up to the appointment. My service advisor Julian was phenomenal as always (dealt w/ him previously) and insisted on moving forward as...
Huge fan of them, along with Throttle House. Have watched all their videos and knew going in that it wouldn't be too favorable. With that said, perhaps my expectations were already low... their gripes aren't too extreme. Definitely issues with the car... but a few comments and their antics shows...
