I appreciate how glossy the all black dark 22" rims are. When the light hits it just right, the details of the rims really show. However, in other light conditions, they just look like dark rims.

Therefore, I wanted to add some color to the rims. I added silver pin stripes in a similar theme as the 20" all-terrain rims. The stripes are subtle enough that they are not obvious in certain angles which was a nice surprising touch.

It turned out better than I imaged and wanted to share.

That looks pretty good! Like a mix between the 22" darks and the default staple ATs. I usually prefer dark rims but didn't like the glossy nature of the Rivian ones. Wish they were matte like the Tesla turbine style.

How did you do it ? They are nice
Hello

There are several ways to achieve this..

Option 1:
Apply pin stripe vinyl stickers. This is what I did. They come in many thicknesses and colors. Link below is one example. LINK

I cut and applied them by hand. It's not perfect, but easily reversible.

Option 2:
The more elegant method is to have a vinyl cutter produce the "C" shape. This would ensure consistence for each spoke.
Think of it as the opposite as the "chrome delete overlays" that many websites sell. LINK

Option 3:
Hand paint the pin stripes. This would require a skillful artist with a steady hand.

Great touch! Brings needed definition to the wheels and I say Rivian needs to take note! ?

I'll be the negative Nancy and say that I personally don't care for that look. However, I do feel the execution was very well done and it is a unique idea. If I saw this mod in person I wouldn't be a huge fan but I would respect you for having the skill to make this look as well done as it does.

I saw the title of the thread and thought the OP scratched their wheels while off-roading and was showing off how scratched they got. I was curious what that would look like while rolling. This is also nice.

No problem and thanks for the comment. I know it's not for everyone.
You're giving me too much credit on the skills, but thank you.

Haha, that would be impressive if I can achieve the same results off-roading.
I have a second set of 20" for when I do go.
