My wife and I actually left Fort Collins CO at 1am to get there in time Tuesday morning. I carried food poisoning the whole way hoping I'd feel better after a 3 hour drive just in time to enjoy the practice at 4 am.

I was wrong, very wrong. I'll spare details but we ended up U-turning and heading back home..6 hours of driving and $160 later #Fail.

Stoked to watch it Sunday on a stream though LOL

Related to Pikes Peak and for the sake of Rooting for Rivian and Hyundai, just finished watching this video and WOW.



Rivian and Hyundai with their IONIQ 5N will be the only two EVs in stock / off the shelf form (same hardware as one that you can order), whereas you have Ford with their Concept Lightning that's nowhere near an actual Lightning.

Kudos to both Rivian and Hyundai. This is incredible and the thermal management in their stock cars to do this climb is extremely impressive.

For context, the Tesla Model S Plaid derated at around 3 minutes into the climb. ?
