Yes, the audio over BT hilariously bad.
I’d love to see Alexa go away. Replace it with Google’s Voice Assistant. That would let Rivian implement voice messaging as well.

I too am wishing for the updated drive modes that we demonstrated to be in development for Dual Motor (performance) where you can lock the all purpose to use both motors without the disconnect which occures currently - Druing a visit to the Normal plan by Kyle Conner he was shown a test version of the software where you could lock both motors on in all purpos e mode - Why do i want this, well when climing in the mountains at highway speedes the rear axil frequently connects and disconnects with a noticalbe "clunk". Second the Google Assistant over Alexa, or at least the option to choose which one (now I'm really asking too much, I know!)

I'm quite new to the Rivian family but have they ever acknowledged the Apple music loudness issue? As in the fact that some songs are as loud on volume 3 as some songs are on volume 12?
I was debating switching to using BT instead of the screen app because of this but now I'm wondering based on this thread saying the BT quality is not good!

I could not disagree more. It is a fantastic addition to the Rivian. Had mind about a week now and I love it.

The lack of text message integration is pretty glaring. I can’t believe it’s taking so long. Doesn’t even seem to be a priority.

How about even just the basic ability to use voice for text entry into search boxes? It is completely unsafe to search on Apple Music with a giant keyboard.

I think it's only a matter of time. At the quad launch event, they had google assistant as a setting in the infotainment. See this on Jose's RivianTrackr video (@10:32):

Steering Upgrades in Sport and Off-Road Modes

• Sport mode now delivers sharper cornering and more tire feedback.

Really interested to know what this means. Are they changing the input torque to require less force until the tires are at the threshold? With the Pilot Sport S5's on my tri, even with the rooftop tent and awning on the roof, I can drive beyond uncomfortably fast on long corners and still don't have tires making noise at all. Speeds I'd slide right off the road at with my R1T and K02 tires.

Yeah, that's why we don't like carplay here, we know carplay is a hack.

Damn, was hoping I could stop using reduced traction to avoid the dual motor clunk.

I was getting a clunk when using Cruise Control and manually speeding up with the right button, i'd get a clunk as the acceleration progressed. I assume thats the rear motor engaging awkwardly?
