Does anyone know where they put the lock/unlock control for the second row screen after the update?
See page 99 of the owners manual

NOTE
To lock the rear display so rear-cabin passengers can't access the climate controls, go to Vehicle >
Shortcuts > Rear Display Lock from the status bar on the center display.

Got the update and then left on a 9hr road trip in the S
  • Didn't really notice a suspension difference ?
  • Agree that the old driver's map was more attractive imo
  • Spent 6 hours with the blind spot cameras and then disabled them. (Nothing against the implementation, I just don't find them helpful as a driver)
  • The AC presets are nice, I'll agree that I with the controlled the rear rows too

I’m with everyone else saying the UI graphics for the turn signal side views camera and gps on the smaller screen took a step back. Unrefined… 1 step forward 2 steps back

The driver mode controls and info screen looked better before. Not a fan of the yellow as a color choice.

Im still not a fan of the CEL graphics.

The change from day mode to dark mode hasn’t been fixed. I think the delay/freeze is even worse now. Going from a bright sunny day to an underpass freezes both the speedo and dash screens

Overall I really like the updates. But not everything is perfect. IMO the blind spot cameras displays were too dark to be really useful. They were totally useless when I had sunglasses on. I’m wondering if there is a good way to brighten the display to make them show up a bit better. I’ll give it a few more days but I’m thinking I’ll go ahead and disable that one feature.

I love how the HVAC controls show up on either side of the screen depending on who activates them. That’s pretty sweet. But can we please get the audio controls moved to the driver‘s side or let me customize it. That’s still a bit annoying.

I like the drive mode buttons but previous implementation was a little better IMO. However I love finally having the option to set brake re-gen to low. I think that’ll make it easier for my wife as she starts driving my truck. I love the drive mode animations. Very Very cool.

I appreciate the update. I do miss the complete blue at top when in driver+, better reminder for me it's on. The drive modes are "easier" but not as "pretty". I love the yellow, but I drive a Compass yellow truck lol. Camera upgrades will happen, assume likely aftermarket.

Digging the update so far…only drove into town and back at the cabin but the ride feels significantly better.

Same man, same. ?
Do you guys have WiFi on and connected? I know others have said this doesn’t make a difference but for me it works every time, including for this update.

Based on Electrafi, it looks like they paused releasing the update. Big release on the 27th, but not much since. Of Electrafi users, 50% have installed the update, an additional 15% have it available, but have not installed.

This is a wild take. The fact there's no clock on the driver's screen with all that unused space is ridiculous. It's a clock for heavens sake. The entire control surface for this vehicle is high resolution, beautifully lit screens. There's no reason each screen can't have the time always shown with little to no sacrifice of UI real estate.

Its literally easier and safer to look at my watch while driving than to crane my head 45 degrees to the right and find the clock in the corner of the screen three feet away.
I wish the software allowed us to configure the drivers display and add a clock etc. I know it’s not as good but “Alexa, what Time is it?” seems to work

I do notice an improvement in ride. Generally smoother, and not sure if it is my imagination, but taking turns seems to have less friction. And as per their release notes, I agree that there is less rocking during acceleration and deceleration.

But, and maybe I just haven't noticed in a while, I see that turning stability to "off" is no longer an option. The stability options vary for different drive modes, and "off" is only available in Off-Road: Drift as far as I could tell. In All-Purpose and Sport, for example, it looks like there are three options, but I could only select On or Reduced. Did they remove the option for turning stability off? Or is there some sensor/computers noticing less than optimal road conditions and temporarily disabling the "Off" option? It did rain last night, but most of the roads were dry.
