I'd like to see Rivian sell EDVs to upfitters.

I think that if they break free of their exclusivity agreement with Amazon they will crush the annual goal. Their 50k number is likely based on the only 10k order of EDVs from Amazon, but I think they can crank out a lot more than 10k if they have other buyers.

ICE only :(
20% of annual production expected to be EDV vs. 80% R1. We knew that before, but good to hear it again from the CEO's mouth.

I love RJ. Every time he talks, anxiety about Rivian goes away.
He is clearly one of the very small numbers of us humans with this level of leadership capability. Very impressive indeed.....and look at all of what he and the team close to him, have accomplished to date....mind blowing....

Yeah, definitely. They’re only running a single shift for EDVs currently too

I have heard EDV only get about 128 miles per charge.

Here is an interesting article, talks a little about range but seems like they can increase the size of the battery and when they go to the LFP battery they can charge safely to 100% daily.

They are targeted at 150 based on a conversation I had with RJ, but the fact of the matter is that they only need about 100 miles per day.

Good news from the CEO, delivered in a competent and no-BS manner. Adds to the feeling that, as @BigSkies wrote, Rivian is now "kinda acting like a grown up company."

One small observation that is mostly irrelevant is that the banner across the top states the interview is "Live Irvine, CA" which seems not be accurate. In the background behind RJ, we see folks working on what appear to be production vehicles, something that as far as I'm aware, only occurs in Normal. Perhaps I'm not understanding something though.

I could be wrong, but it looks like a green screen showing factory footage.
