Seriously, do anyone know if you could get a truck at pre-March prices, or is everything new pricing? The sign up is open to all. The form does ask if you're a current reservation holder, but doesn't answer that key question.

Based on everything we have seen in the R1 Shop, pre-March reservations have the frozen prices, anything after gets current prices

Destination fee is charged on all deliveries, even factory pickup. There’s no way to avoid it.

My understanding is that a the destination fee is the average to deliver the vehicle to all parts of the country and everyone is charged the same fee. So destination for pickup in Normal is the same for delivery in Seattle, San Diego, Miami, Maine, etc. I’m not sure if Hawaii or Alaska is different.

Yeah, I knew that glut of cars at the factory was a problem. Maybe they could outsource sales to a network of sites with large parking lots, all across the country? These sites could even service the cars.

They are just trying to bump up delivered vs produced numbers to close out the quarter.

Wonder if we'll see this near the end of each quarter.

I have a hard time seeing this being anything overwhelming. There's already a quick turnaround for a r1t... Why waste time going to factory for an unknown configuration, needing a second driver vs accepting whatever trade in value you can get, etc.

I think if r1s were on the table or they offered some $ off then they could've pulled a few people in, maybe next quarter.

I asked my guide this exact thing, and have yet to hear a reply. I have to fly to my service center to pick up my reservation at some point, so flying to Normal isn't out of the picture for me, though the drive home triples.
