I I will not be subscribing to any service/feature on any vehicle I own. Period. They need to figure out how to be profitable by producing a great product, not nickel and diming customers for options. Iāll keep all the streaming services in our living room and get in my Rivian for real...- Riptide

How do you handle texts in your R1?
I solved this by changing the āAuto Lockā from 30 seconds to 30 min or more. Then most likely the phone remains unlocked most of the time itās in your pocket, but still locks up if left behind someplace. -
Ceramic tint the windshield?
Even with strait clear ceramic the temperature will drop. I have two vehicles at 80% and one at 100%. I prefer the 80.- Riptide

Sounds like the voucher is for Shop Purchases. May be worth confirming your custom build now. I confirmed mine on Feb 2nd, and have not been put into production yet. With a delivery timeline of 2-4 months. Interested to see if they rush my R1T through before the shut down. I am a pre price... -

Itās the other way around for many reservation holders. Rivian has been holding out and delaying delivery for service center proximity. Iāve been ready to purchase for years now. -

I just got an email today from my guide offering shop access. Iām on Kauaāi. 1-5 week delivery. Iām gonna hold of and wait for my build I think but there are a few configurations that are really close to mine. -
Kneel Mode stresses suspension?
Our Grand Cherokee with air suspension and kneel/entry mode operating for the life of the vehicle with no problems. The compressor was my only concern. The air bags themselves, being rubber, will last longer as they are exercised up and down. The longer the air suspension remains static the...- Riptide

UPDATE: Blackout lightbar decal added + applied vinyl to break up the controversial front end on my Rivian
The bold lettering cheapens the look IMO. I am a fan of the tinted light bar coupled with the white paint.- Riptide

Itās a mixed bag of Resort charging stations, shopping centers, and some county/power co. Still a lot of work to be done. They are all mostly for tourists and rental EVs. Gotta have a home charger + solar to truly make financial sense.- Riptide
