Watching the KBB review, this morning, I noticed they said there is a $1,075 delivery charge. Anyone else pick up on that?

Yeah I posted that in the main reviews thread a bit earlier. I’m not surprised and at least we know the number now. I think I’m ok with it.

Yea, I was hoping for it being "included" in the vehicle price... But everyone else charges delivery, so I'm not surprised. At least it's not completely outrageous.

I wonder how bad it will be in Canada.

The last MINI I bought was the worst I’ve seen, had freight and PDI charges of $2200, and that was in 2014.

I was hoping for a free delivery, but expecting it to be about $1k. Seems fair for a home delivery.

i think it should be waved for those that pre-ordered in the summer of 2021.
Honestly the delivery charge should be waived for LE holders. Especially those that were early holders.

Maybe they will, Id still prefer picking up in Normal sans any delivery fee but understand if that is logistically not possible.

I don't know any specifics, but having read some other articles that were shared here it sounds like the issue with factory pick up is a legislative one with the state of Illinois and not a logistical one.

That also makes sense which is fine I suppose.

Well should point out one of the benefits of the launch edition was supposed to be including priority delivery. I guess that means priority delivery for a $1000.. haha. Anyway can't blame them because we will pay, same as we do with every other company.

TBH we also assumed priority delivery meant first come first serve and not based around service centers built already etc. We still don't know much but I feel like priority delivery isn't what we think it means haha.
