Truck looks sweet, congrats. I’m in So Cal as well. So far I have only seen one R1T driving down the road (opposite direction so didn’t see much). Hope to see more soon as these deliveries ramp up.
Amazing that the normal transport trucks can carry a full load. These were made for traditional truck with traditional weight. The R1T is significantly heavier than a traditional truck. Good thing it still works.
I just noticed that the tow hooks, which were previously only available as part of the $2K off-road package, are standard equipment on the Adventure model. Also, if you get an Explorer model, it’s a $300 add on. That was the only option I wanted that I previously lacked but I did not want to...
I got lucky. Locked in on all my preferences months ago and didn’t alter my reservation when price-gate hit: R1S, Rivian Blue, 20” AT, Ocean Coast. I don’t plan to change, especially now that the Ocean Coast option is $2k.
