Yeah, that’s what I meant in my initial post. These videos all seems to come either from Rivian or some other staged publication. There are no third-person videos from what I can tell.

Sucks. I’m in a gated community and 4 years ago I was the first to buy a Tesla. Today, half of the neighborhood has Teslas now. Hoping I don’t see someone take delivery of the R1 before me.

I haven’t taken delivery but when I bought a Tesla, I was charged the normal fees similar to buying a car from a local dealer (delivery, taxes, license, registration, title). Taxes are based on delivery zip code.

I guess that’s one downside of ordering online. You don’t get those $500 wheel locks the dealerships sneak in to the final price of your vehicle that are “already installed” and can’t be sold without them ?. Kidding of course. I hate dealerships and their hidden fees.

Nice. Hope we are getting closer to deliveries. I’m surprised there have been 0 videos showing the R1S and it seems like we are approaching the first customer deliveries.

Not sure why it would. I can envision if you decided not to add it that they may prioritize a higher prized delivery but that seems a little far fetched.

Mine has reverted back. September 2021 preorder for R1S Adventure Pack. I didn’t cancel or modify my order during the debacle. Anyone with reverted price modify their order to add any gear? They said that accessory prices should also revert back for us as well so the Rivian charger is $250...

Music to my ears. The only thing I was missing on my configuration was the tow hooks but no way I was paying $2,000 for them. Now they are included as part of my Adventure pack. Sweet deal.

Makes sense. Q1 ends in 2 days so jus trying to push these out. I have a ways to go (first half 2023) so hopefully they have the OC figured out by then. Would hate to give my free upgrade.

About the Ocean Coast interior, did they just say not available now and that you needed to change to Black if you wanted delivery now? Any mention about how long a delay would have been if you opted to keep OC? I’m curious since I have OC and would like to keep it but seems like they are forcing...

They are only delivering LE packages now and the wheel upgrades were mostly free for them. Seems most people would choose the pricey upgrades vs the free tires, thus less 21s to see being delivered.

Pretty sure there are threads that took surveys of everyone’s order date and delivery window for the different trims. That’s your best bet.

Would be nice if that was a customer truck since that has the Ocean Coast interior, which seems to be delayed. If that was an actual delivery, that would be sweet.
