I think that goes back to my original post. ~6000 miles, with 3000 of them with 1000+ pound load fighting the wind and going 80+mph and I see about 2mm more wear from the fronts than rears. With rotation to even out the wear I think 15,000+ is easily obtainable. Not that that is a great...
Yeah I considered that and was actually the reason I wanted to have the truck recalibrated. But honestly, I have my doubts about the extent of the differences in the calibration.
Certainly the Speedo due to the known OD difference between the two tire sizes. But the rest of the items you...
Well yeah, that makes sense, I could see that. It seems as though my alignment is good at Low. About 95% of my travel is on the freeway. So if my alignment is good at low, I'm going to see good wear, as I am. I don't lowest because the truck rides too rough.
What I'm not sure anyone knows...
Not that I can tell, no. I attempted to have the SC recalibrate to the 21's, they couldn't get it done for whatever reason, so I drove the truck calibrated to 20's with the 21's on. No discernible difference, although I'm sure the speedo must have been slightly off. But everything worked as...
Oh yeah, good point the tire wear is very even. Looks to be evenly worn across the tire. And no cupping either.
The alignment on the truck is very good. My steering wheel has been ever so slightly off since new, but it is less so with the 20’s than the 21’s. That’s not uncommon though with any...
I’m pretty sure that the new depth is nowhere near 10-12mm. I would guess more like 7-8mm. Maybe someone with a new set of 21’s can speak to that. I did not measure prior to mounting the 21’s but I’m very confident that with rotation, 15,000 miles is obtainable.
I have about 6000 miles on a set of 21”s I bought for road trips. The tires were brand new, I bought the complete set off a forum member a few months back.
I recently completed a 3000+ trip to TX with the 21’s. That trip plus a camping trip and some other local running around got me to about...
This opening was reported on the other Google Maps thread a week or so ago, but that area needs this charger SO BADLY IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY. I sat at the crappy EA at Quartzsite last week for over an hour waiting for a spot and then charging at 130kw.
I literally missed this opening by 1 day. o_O
For sure there is no actual change in the Rivian Blue color code or formulation. There might be slight variants of RB on the planet due to production variances, but the color has not changed. If it did change there would be a new color code, and almost certainly a new color name, and there...
Trip is over and alls well. I likely wouldn’t do it again due to the shear number of charging stops and the lack of charging infrastructure. It was ok, it worked, but an improvement is needed and coming. The Quartzsite area is a key charging stop and they’re 4 chargers with 1 down and 1 with...
Quartzsite, AZ location looks very close to ready. And the area needs more charging in a huge way. There’s currently only an EA station that has 4 stalls with 1 broken and none putting out good numbers.
Oh yeah, that makes total sense. I have not driven around Austin much yet, which will lower it like you mention. I guess I'll see how the overall looks when I get back to LA.
But yeah, I'm guessing the Guzzi won't have much impact at all. ?
Makes sense, yep. My average seed is considerably higher and I bet that is what made the difference in efficiency. More so than the motorcycles, I agree. I have some mirrors and a little bit of fairing poking over the roof, so I'm sure that doesn't help, but looking at your numbers it seems...
