It’s Here!!! And It’s Mine After 3 Years (Compass Yellow R1S)

Three years to almost the day, my R1S is home. I have actually had it about a week, but have been busy, you know… looking for panel gaps

Truth is, it’s pretty clean. The lift gate is a little off, and there is something on the sunroof, but other than that, it’s an awesome vehicle.

Delivery was great, both my Guides came and surprised me (one was promoted and then I got a new Guide). It was great to hug two strangers who I have only communicated with through text.

Not Going to lie, it’s a lot harder to park and fit into the garage than my Mini, but I am getting used to it.

The only bummer, they didn’t put any windshield wiper fluid in. I wanted to smell it so badly.

Anyway, here is The Lorax!!!!

Are you going to leave us hanging on what was on your roof? My mind is a racing at the possibilities. The recipe for the addictive smelling windshield wiper fluid? An “IOU” note for a free NACS adapter? A matchbox R1S?

Enquiring minds need to know!

Meanwhile, we are kindrid spirits because I am coming from A BMW i3s, the brother from a related mother to the mini so I will also have to get used to the crazy size difference between the i3 and in my case the even bigger R1T.

I can get behind the yellow but I CANNOT handle that they did not match any other yellow on the vehicle. I believe the yellow break calipers are a different yellow and also the badge yellow is different. 3 different shades. Kills me.

Your R1S looks great and best of luck with it. I personally love the Compass Yellow but the SO, not so much. We've compromised on Red Canyon.

Yeah I have a Compas Yellow R1T and it's certainly one of the best colors out there. I get compliments about the color more than I get compliments on the truck!
