I picked up a set of 21" wheels. I also have 20" ATs but thought I'd "dip" the 21s first and see how it turns out.

Overall: I think they look pretty darn good for $110. It's significantly cheaper than powder coating and isn't permanent. I'll test how they wear on and off road and will update in the future.

Process: It was pretty easy overall. It was 50 F outside and started lightly raining halfway through spraying them so that led to a couple weird spots although they're not very noticeable. I'll probably give these a few months then might respray in the future.

What's odd is that I ordered and received the Piano Black color. It's supposed to be a glossy wheel, not matte. However, as the last photo shows, the wheels look matte and almost gray. Day 1 they were a little shinier but not by much.

I'm going to send a photo to Dip Your Car and see what they say.

Looks good! Need center caps. Did you see better efficiency?

I think the the 21's without the plastic Aeros are the best looking of the Rivian offerings.

I might finally agree…

I wouldn’t go for a smaller tire on these rims. But the price and lack of treadwear warranty have me leaning to getting 20’s and some Michelin defenders as well

We actually ship enough material for 5 wheels + 2 extra spokes (i.e 4 wheels + spare + 2 extra spokes for the first few while you are learning how to do it)

Caps are in the mail lol. I've had the 21s on for almost 2,000 miles and have seen a 10-15% bump consistently.
Is that with aero covers or without? I remember someone saying that 22s are more efficient than 21s without aero covers.

A mix. So far I’ve noticed maybe a 1-2% difference with no aero covers.

Nice. In that case aero covers will never go back on my vehicle.

In fact, I went on a drive yesterday with five other R1Ts. One other had 21s. They had aero covers and drove in conserve. I drove in AP and had a RTT. After 70+ miles, we both used 25%. I should’ve gotten worse
