As an insufferable car enthusiast, forum junkie, and new Rivian owner, it's finally time for me to start my own build journal here!

The basics:

• Midnight Black / Ocean Coast / Adventure Pkg / 20" ATs
• Pre-ordered 9/1/21
• Delivered 7/31/23

Delivery went super smoothly at the Atlanta Service Center, and I immediately brought it home and began installing all of the mods and accessories I've gathered in the past few weeks. Took me about 7 hours to get it all done, but I'm really glad I got it done immediately as it feels ready for a busy life on and off the road with my wife and two young boys.

• TWraps front bumper/headlights PPF kit
• TWraps gloss black chrome delete kit

how much research on do you have on the drivers seat with the rear facing car seat behind.? Worried about my clearance with my own rear facing installed. I’m 6’ tall.

That black just looks soooo nice! Definitely one of my favorite colors! But it gets dirty super fast and it's very visible.. Which is making me second guess it as my color and now were leaning towards white..

Tastefully done all around. The wheels look great. Just downgraded my preorder from the 20” Darks to the Brights with a simple mod like this in mind.

How tough was the install on the chrome delete?

Wasn't easy TBH. I watched the video and decided to go it alone in my hot garage. Would be significantly easier if I had a helper and an air conditioned or cooler space to install it. The pre-cut pieces were all the right size, but it requires a LOT of patience to get it right. The heat made the adhesive backing on the vinyl pretty tacky so if you dont get it lined up and placed JUST right the first time, it'll stick immediately and you'll mess it up. I'm glad the kits ship with a full second set of pieces as backups. It came out good. Not perfect, but I didn't have to use any backup pieces, and I had no help, so I'm calling it a win.

Absolutely! I am most interested in the full replacement lettering that's 100% black with no yellow accents or silver side faces. I think it's coming from AbstractOcean? Can't remember but I saw them teased in one of these forums. I'd really like to have gunmetal grey or matte black lettering all around the car- not gloss black.

Sorry. How much clearance on drivers seat with rear facing seat behind?

I'd guess about 2 inches when the seat is all the way back for roomy exit and a little more than that when up in my preferred driving position (I'm 5'10").
