It's not a big deal to pop that cover off - maybe 60 seconds of effort. If your tire shop can't handle that, i'd be worried that will handle the tire job competently. Any reasonably competent tire installer will have no problems here.As a side note to the running boards be aware of the aero panels for the R1T. The aft panel must be removed to gain access to the puck jack point. This requires you to get under truck to remove 3 screws to remove the panel before the truck is jacked up. The front aero panel has the traditional pop out cover. I can't imagine trusting a tire company or service provider to remove and reinstall the rear cover properly.
