FWIW, this is almost certainly a bot, and I've enjoyed watching people argue with it (including me!).

This thread is pretty epic, though. Usually it devolves into name-calling when it goes on this long, but this bot is persistent and reasonably polite. It managed to not get itself banned. Overall, 10/10 trolling, I'm impressed.

Ya well that's the future. I am pretty sure nearly all Rivian employees use AI to communicate high stake situations. One guy told me they all use it when communicating with higher ups.

I hope you find a solution, I really do. But it does not seem like you understand the difference between using AI as a tool to help you, and using AI in a social forum, like this one.

The accounts here are real people, human beings, and we are not interested in socializing with an AI bot. This forum is not a tool, it is a social platform. The members here are not tools (well, some are ), we are human beings who are sharing our love (and sometimes hate) of our Rivians.

If you cannot participate in a social forum without using AI to communicate for you, I suggest you move on. The more you do it, the more insulting it is. To me, anyway.

BTW - what Rivian does with AI internally is irrelevant to this social forum.

Did anyone else notice how the story keeps evolving? First it was a "software update" refusal. Later on it comes out that it is specifically an "Ride Height Calibration" issue. Based on what has been stated so far, why would anyone expect Rivian to support a Ride Height Calibration for a jacked/modified suspension?

If I were to change the ADAS camera to a higher resolution/pixel count, should I expect Rivian to support that? Of course not.

A stock firmware update is one thing, a ride height calibration issue due to a jackled suspension is completely different.

but it cannot operate because the service center is refusing to perform a software update required for the airbag that operates the ride height suspension.
