How much was in and out for the Michelin Defenders, 21"?
Just checked DT for the Pirelli Scorpion OEM tires, $2,596 in and out for all four.

Mine was $1648.25, which included the certificates, the Michelin rebate, and a veteran's 5% military discount. They will be installed on Friday. I should also note that I currently have 36K miles on my Pirelli's.

that is great price. the pirce i quoted above is with no discount and texas tax straight from discount tires site. The warranty certificates alone is $280 dollars. 36K miles !!! Mine lasted 16K miles. ! such a big difference in OEM tires.

low N but just an update for those who didn't see the headline earlier.

Pirellis lifetime 2.23 (>94% in AP)
prior 4,000 miles 2.40 (included The Count's sojourn to sunny South Dakota entailing some conserve mode)

Defenders first 1,000 2.20 (all AP)

carry on.
The Count’s Costco loitering nemesis had his tires install by Costco today - and noticed a horrendous decrease in efficiency. Granted, the Count’s nemesis only drove 10 miles home, but still, the curve was vastly different. Sure, break in period required, but 1.57 miles/kWh?! Saw no “green” on the 15 minute efficiency curve, and that’s a first for said nemesis. He will “carry on” for a few hundred more miles and report back…

9/18 Update - Okay, I saw more green today; it’s improving rapidly. Hopefully I can get back to “steady-state” before the changeover from the Pirellis. The Defenders are noticeably quieter and more supple!

Below 2.0 after a full charge since tires were breaking in. I was doing so much city driving and now mixture highway and suburban drive as usual.
Got it! How about when you were running the original tires?

Can someone give me the costco part # for the Michelin 21s? I can't get them to come up. Also, ptrs to any current "certificates" (what are those?) and Michelin discounts (everything I looked at said out of stock) One of my OEM Pirelli's went flat and I think it's a warranty defect but if I have to buy something I'd rather buy the Michelin.

The Costco item number is 1764206. However, it still won’t come up online. I had to call for them to find it in their internal system.
