I keep looking at your setup but it's just too short on the table height for me that's why I really like the original camp kitchen.I hope so!

I also had the same thought. if planned carefully you could have a neat outdoor home kitchen setup that is portable to use on the road at weekends.I bought it for multiple reasons, not least of which is what these site sponsors do around it. Will someone make a counter-height folding table with this specific setup in mind with maybe a little extra counter space, a hole for a fold flat sink, maybe an under table shelf to hold pots and pans and a water tank for a faucet? I would very quickly be sold on that. I’ve looked at other options for a camp table to put it on, but I know the Rivian enthusiast crowd can do better.
For the record I LOVED the original camp kitchen idea for my R1T and I have been very close to getting the Thunderbolt kitchen multiple times, but this design has a silver lining that intrigues me… I can move this setup closer to my tent (with an extension cord) and can cook under a bug screened canopy if the mosquitos are out in full force (or under a canopy to protect from the rain or the sun’s heat). I can cook on my truck’s tailgate if I want, but this (or a simple induction burner setup) with an extension cord gives me flexibility.
We've had no issues and we're rather tall, 6'2 and 5'9I keep looking at your setup but it's just too short on the table height for me that's why I really like the original camp kitchen.
What Carl says above is spot on about the best way to get the truck nicely leveled which also results in a standard counter height camp kitchen.I keep looking at your setup but it's just too short on the table height for me that's why I really like the original camp kitchen.
I understand your frustration that there is no OEM Gear Tunnel Kitchen, but we have a lot of very happy customers with this model:It makes financial sense that they redesigned it to focus on fit & finish with the R1S (and "non-rivian" vehicles), but I'll always be salty that they completely abandoned the gear tunnel version.
Oh it was available when I checked again?I wanted it and it’s sold out already?
Then it makes accessing other parts of the vehicle more difficult, especially for those of us that have young kids. We've had no issues and we're rather tall, 6'2 and 5'9
The 'trick' to easy leveling and also a higher counter height is the raise up the air suspension first to high or higest, and then hit Level, so it's settling down instead of trying to pump itself up.
