I’ve always secretly judged people who put M & AMG badges on non-M/AMG cars…..

I did the same thing and put him on the tailgate. Only after did I read that I may be a poseur. But I can't find any images to prove it. Was he just on some demo vehicles or certain configs? Maybe we should turn him upside down like the Tour de France rider wearing number 13. Hope he doesn't get dizzy or causes the vehicle to roll.

I love the badge but won't do the badge upgrade. But I view debadging in same way.....typically someone who wants you to think their A6 is a S6, a 540i to think it is a M5, etc...

But I also fully say....people should do whatever makes them happy.

Ha, I've always judged those people too...but not secretly! I knew someone who had a Mercedes S430 yrs ago, he changed the emblem to S500. I gave him shit for yrs

A Gary logo is good for at least 5 horsepower.

I feel differently about this. People putting AMG badges without the widebody, wheels, brakes, etc and people (generally) know AMG/M, so you’re projecting something totally different. Few people know the badge is supposed to indicate the ascent trim.

Debadging looks better regardless of model. No judging for having good taste.

I would have done so with the Rivian but it helps people identify the brand. Seems like most people are starting to recognize it, so they may come off soon.

It does, but <1% of the population is gonna know that so it doesn’t really matter imo. If you like the Gary badge I wouldn’t worry about the opinion of such a minute population.

Now if you throw on the G2 Quad wheels and blue badging I would judge, but not for this little Gary badge.
