Good observation but let’s wait for official photos.Something about it makes it look less substantial? Are the tires smaller?
Not a fan either. Those rims are terrible and not dissimilar to the discontinued chrome 20”s that thankfully were dropped.
Looks to be 275/60R20Too lazy to read all pages. Are those 20" wheels equipped with 33" tires?
Not chrome. Combination of paint and machined features that are then clear coated. Chrome plating is time consuming, energy intensive and toxic.I'm happy to see that chrome trim is still available. I was really disappointed with the first photo of the red R1S all blacked out. I think the lack of chrome really makes the vehicle look down-market. I'm a fan of the chrome at this price point.
Maybe someone can reach out to these guys and see if they'll make a Rivian aftermarket...It helps, but still not as effective as a heated headlight.
Was my guess as well. Wonder if they switch to 33" tires for both AT and AS. Definitely would improve efficiency and would make it easier to swap tiresLooks to be 275/60R20
I do have a feeling the run on the shop when they make the official announcement is going to make for the mother of all end of quarter sales. I feel bad for the delivery teams that are going to have to work through the enormous backlog that they will have over the next 4-5 weeks.Okay, looks pretty sweet. Some nice tweaks but the same R1 we all love.
Now get these in the Shop, Rivian!
Pleeeeeeaaaaaaassssssseeeee!
