Rivian Electric Summer Kick Off at spaces on June 6 = R1 Refresh reveal date?

So Rivian just dropped this in the new newsletter. unfortunately, the link doesn't work though its supposed to just take you to the main Spaces page (rivian.com/Spaces apparently isn't the same as rivian.com/spaces - someone needs to enable a re-direct ASAP)

anyways, when you go to the correct Spaces URL, there's no mention on a 6/6 event there or in any of the location pages. keep your eyes open for an update ?

seems imminent though that the refresh reveal is coming soon.

New information confirmed by sources at Rivian suggests that the updated models will be announced on June 6 during the Electric Summer Kick-Off event at Rivian Spaces.

Wondering if they are holding off on the next OTA until they can launch Premium Connectivity. sounds like they may want to do this concurrently with the refresh announcement.

I got an invite to the Austin Spaces sneak peek on June 7th. Sort of odd that they wouldn't move it up a day to coincide with the June 6th event.

The events are at different times (for example the Brooklyn event will be over before the west coast ones begin) so I don't expect the on-sale (if it happens that day) to be at night when these events are. It's not like the R2 reveal where the events happened at the same time for everyone with a live stream.

I'd expect orders to open up earlier during the day during business hours. We'll probably get a "Meet the new R1" page on the site and/or videos. And I still think it will be Shop vehicles only (likely lower trim only) and they will keep their word about the configurator opening later this summer when the tri/quad motor trims are ready.

I wonder if the reason there is nothing showing for the Seattle Space is that they can't do Demo drives in WA state. I see the other Spaces have signup for Demo Rides. Maybe they are not doing the same thing there or they still need to design a different page.
