Has anyone done proper before/after efficiency testing yet with these compared to the scorpions on the same route/similar conditions?

OP had some useful numbers, but I will be doing a pretty strict test on two specific routes this week. My plan is to run the OEM on a street route which goes to and from the tire shop, and a highway route near that, using cruise. Both are pretty low/steady as far as traffic goes, so I will do my normal 8-10 over and locked on cruise. (Yeah, I'm a criminal, almost everyone here is doing 8-15 over so it's dangerous to be slow.)

Hi guys - so what is the efficiency of these vs. Pirelli's? I saw spec but missed the numbers.

Through a funny turn of events, I ended up getting the new tires a few hours ago, and didn't do my empirical test. Best I could do is observe and photograph the power usage on two common routes, for lots of miles, where I can do mostly consistent speeds. After the tire change, I only did a few miles, on one of the two routes I use a lot. So far, the power usage looks terrible, but it was rush time and speed was wavering. Tire NOISE, however, is gone. Now I can hear the inverters and motors, not the tires.

I'm an idiot, and ignore my power comments. I had the old tires in the bed, standing up, bed open. Sheesh.

But they ARE super quiet!

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
So - 275/65, SL-rated and 44PSI max, or 275/60, XL-rated and 50PSI max?

They’re essentially the same weight. But the higher PSI on the 60-series seems appealing from a range perspective.

Data, anyone?

I have the latter and keep them at 48 psi and am doing a consistent 1.86 m/kWh in AP standard and can somehow get to 2.1 in AP low… after 14k miles.

Thank you.

Would you mind posting pick of how it looks?

Is this better than what you got on Pirelli AT?

And did you need to reprogram or anything like that as I think the /60 takes you to 33.5 total diameter and Pirelli is 34.1 total diameter in inches?

I had 21’s OE and my efficiency was 2.14

You are likely wrong. See Kyle out of spec.
How do I "see Kyle out of spec"? A link might make more sense. Or at least something to go on. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't think I will. Lower air pressure at, say 10,000 ft (which is pretty darn high) above sea level just isnt' going to make an appreciable difference to increase efficiency of an EV.

and softer!
I hope so, and for more off road traction/compliance. I have no idea where to go with pressures on a 20 however, biggest I've owned was 35s on 17" wheels on the Gladiator. 20s are so wrong for off road, but here we are.

Thanks for creating this thread!
I just had these tires mounted today due to the factory tires HOWLING at just 20k miles(I come from Jeep MT's, and this is worse than most I've owned.) I can't fully comment to efficiency yet as my commute today was a bit outside the norm going to the tire shop and taking a different way home.
The noise and ride quality alone is a good enough reason to make this switch for me. Increased efficiency would be an added bonus. I was doing fairly well at 2.4 mi/Kwh with the factory Pirreli's on my normal commute to/from work. Changing only the tires I am at 2.7 for the 30 miles since. I don't expect it to stay that high, but even if it drops back down to where I was with the Pirellis I will be happy with the change.
Tire pressure's are a bit high since I installed them and had to immediately hit the freeway. I will drop them down to 44 cold tomorrow moring.

My truck is nagging at me for having them at 44. You might try to keep it at 45. It doesn't seem possible to calibrate the pressure alarm at all, unlike many other vehicles. There's a Rivian TPMS "reset tool" that third party shops have, but I haven't yet investigated whether they can change the alarm.
