You need to have software 2024.02.07.02 or better.

Glad Rivian has a plan to distribute these
It will be interesting to see if either of the two currently available (and reputable) 3rd party adapters can deliver by this Summer. We know neither Ford nor Rivian will be able to meet demand by then with the Tesla-sourced adapter.
a couple folks have already gotten theirs. 3-4 week delivery timeframes were reported in another thread.

Sure, people who ordered before the rush have one.

No doubt there was a window of time where delivery was 3-4 weeks. That window will continue to stretch out as more people place orders hoping to get one before Tesla/Rivian can get around to delivering one. The Ford folks are reporting delivery times of July or later. Rivian probably has an initial stash from Tesla, but that will rapidly be exhausted, and we'll be in the same boat (now bigger) with the Ford folks.

And, Tesla has never, ever met a delivery schedule, so whatever time they're telling Ford and Ford is telling its customers, is a lie. Rivian hasn't told us any believable times, likely because they don't know, either.

The 3-4 weeks was reported by folks ordering the 3rd party adapters yesterday. But yes I am sure that will grow somewhat depending on how good A2Z and Lectron were at anticipating demand.

Isn't 2024.03.xx newer than 2024.02.xx?
@jeeden might have meant 2024.07.03, which is the most recent.

Some are also talking about something called 2024.07.02, which I haven’t seen.

Anybody else have any weird behaviors with the UI after NACS going live today? Wife said doors would not unlock using proximity and only the two front doors would open after multiple attempts opening with the app. Also, when she got home I went for a drive and the vehicle did switch to me as the driver, but the seats didn't go into my preset memory positions. A soft reset seemed to fix everything, so not really worried about it.. just curious if others had similiar issues.
Yes, I had the rear doors unlock as I walked up but the driver's door wouldn't unlock. Had to use the app and relock then unlock the doors, but it hasn't happened since.

So given what we know now, how would one use Bluedot to initiate charge at a Tesla site? Sign up for Bluedot, set up payment using Bluedot's credit card and initiate charge through Bluedot? or do you simply add the Bluedot credit card to your Rivian account?

My R1S software version 2024.07.02 still not showing any Tesla chargers. Tried soft reset, played with filters and finally contacted tech support. Rivian can't do anything, looks like they do not have solution.
They said that this is a unique problem and they will research it.
If someone has the same problem, please contact Rivian to report.

Can any of you rich folks order 2 of the A2Z Typhoon, and then break one open so we can see what's inside it?

Is it completely passive where its really just routing wires? Or is there any active electronic on it?

I have no problems using an adapter if it indeed is passive. Obviously I'd stick around while it charged the first time or two to see what kind of heat rise it would have.
It's effectively the same as a plug adapter when traveling to other countries with different AC receptacles. While the voltage and frequency may be different, it just passes thru the power and your device that's plugged in, such as a laptop, converts the voltage and frequency. In this case, the laptop is the Rivian and has the charger built in and just converts the power as needed to match its need, and both the vehicle and charger provide a disconnect notification and some other info via the communication wires. It's just a simple plug adapter. The key is that it can handle the rated voltage and peak amps that the vehicle can charge with. If so, it won't melt.

Same here, the truck is not recognising/showing the Tesla chargers.

They will get it worked out, no worries.

I got the second email yesterday.
Thanks, those were both the same email for me, just split up in screen shots and stupidly posted in reverse order.
Did your email lower half have the top portion about buying?

I just looked and sadly all 60 superchargers in Baker and the 42 in Primm are incompatable - Grrrr

I had terrible luck at the EA units along that route in the summer when the temps got hot.
Just curious why Baker and Primm specifically, they do have them in Barstow, Yermo, and Henderson.

The stations in Baker and Primm are a combo of V2 and V3 and these stations are not showing. I’m curious if it is a hardware/software issue for the combined sites or they are trying to eliminate confusion for the users.

Some people reported there are people claiming they were able to plug and charge at stations not listed. There is a combo station in Indio as well with V2 and V3 chargers. Once I get my adapter I was planning on trying one of the V3 chargers there just to see if it works or not.
