What is the average update cycle that Rivian has? I feel like we just got the .42 update and now there’s another one? Do they do an update every two month? Every quarter?

Usually early each month we get advance notice. December starts in three days - so this is a little earlier than normal but not by much.

  • Fixed a rare issue in which the Mobile app incorrectly shows the doors as open and the range as zero.

I had thought I was going crazy and was the only one with this, been having this issue for a few weeks now and it's been the bane of my existence. Very happy to see it's being fixed.
I had this for the first time yesterday! (The battery pack was not dead and doors and tire compartment were not actually open)

It’s been pretty consistently every 4 weeks.

I am going to update right away when it gets released, I won't wait a single second, no matter if I'm driving, road tripping, parked at home or out of the country.

I don't know why. I just like the excitement and potential of a bricked truck.

Plus after that last event....not likely to happen again for a while...if ever.

Just glad to see it didn't slow the software team from the original cadence.

Hoping there are "under the hood" improvements to the navigation. I figured after the ABRP acquisition, they would roll out routing improvements. I use it every once in a while on longer trips to incorporate battery conditioning for charging and in my experience routing has not gotten better. Maybe it has and I've just not used it enough to see improvements. They are quadrupling down with their native navigation system.

As winter is here, we need preheat battery and departure option please. !!!
Started driving my Polestar again because it has this. Nice to not have to think about it and get into a toasty vehicle in the morning.

What if I WANT to splash my passengers with the wipers when parked? Damn Rivian and their updates.
