that charger door looks finally aligned haha
It was! That was the one thing I really wanted to look at when we passed it. This was my first time seeing a Rivian in person and it did not disappoint. My wife is even more excited because she liked the look of it

My wife and I saw this while driving down Southfield road near our house. The lack of plates, perfect paint, and trailering make me wonder if this is off the line.

Do my eyes deceive me or are those the 20" AT wheels, originally for just the R1T but since available for the R1S, in a dark style? They look great! I was wondering if that combination would be possible, because it seemed like that wheel was not available as a dark option, while the other 20" wheel and the 22" wheel were available in a dark style.

If these 20" wheels are available in black but for a crazy upcharge then I'll stick with the non-dark option (and maybe get them powder coated), but it seems like an interesting permutation that hasn't been seen before. Though I could have easily missed an update along the way.

The green looks great in these photos and the wheels look great with it.

Those look like nasty panel gaps. Between the tailgate and side; and back door and gear tunnel step. A little blurry, unclear if those parts are just slightly adjar.. panel gaps are one of the main things Tesla struggled with early on.

The door is definitely not fully closed. I am almost positive of the same for the tailgate but, as you noted, it's too blurry to say for sure. Not something I would worry about.

ICE only :(
It looks like the tailgate is being held “closed“ by black tape. I’ll bet it is slightly ajar.

Noticed them too in the photo. I hope they’re available to order

Wondered too.
I’m assuming part of a test harness wiring / sensors..ready to be utilized at some facility.

That's why it's being towed. It was off-roading and didn't have the extra protection. Ripped apart a wiring harness.

Also.. driver window down, doors apparently unlocked, it appears to be in kneeling or highway speed lowered mode…and the hitch receiver cover is not installed / appears something there. Maybe more test harness wiring, plugs? Hmmm..

Definitely look used...as well as a redesign on the lower plastic fascia on the doors that now allow for your foot some access to the rails with the door shut.
I believe that indention has always been there as visible in the lead pic in this 2018 CNET article.
