I recently replaced my front to tires on my R1T 22" since I destroyed them during my first year of driving. ( I know im too aggressive ) also I took a 6000 mile road trip in Conserve mode, so that didn't help.

They said that the company that makes the
Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season 275/50/22
are discontinued.

I was able to snag some of them from a shop in CA and shipped to the store.

Are the new 22" tires coming off the line a different make or design?

Pirelli has discontinued them? Following to see what others say. Planning on going to Michelins when mine are worn out.

Get the Michelins anyways. They cost only a little bit more than the pirellis and actually have a warranty.

They still show on the Pirelli site, maybe they just have a new revision.

They did switch from a 115H rating to a 116H rating. Earlier R1s came stock with the 115s and later came stock with the 116s. That may be what they are referring to about being discontinued.

Just checked Pirelli site and they do still make them and sell them. Sounds like the tire shop just stopped carrying it. Probably didn't sell well.

I have 22s and I want some beefy boys once I’ve gone through the OG ones.

No idea where to start but I only have 9k on them now.

For those of you in the know. What are the advantages to the Michelins. Buying a new set of Pirellis surely got you a warranty too?

I always thought of the two tires roughly on par with each other. I did see the Michelins were HL with 119S rating, but that’s really just overkill right?

My last pirellis lasted 16K miles and the Michelins have a 50K mile warranty. That's the difference.

Ok... What tires are THOSE? they look sexy as F! I'm not 100% up on the tire discussion but starting to think I need to plan for my next set and those are doing it for me.

Wow the stock Pirellis don't offer a milage warranty even if you buy new ones!! I never thought that was a thing. Did anyone look at the fine print on the Michelins Defenders LTX M/S2 if they exclude EV's I look through the warranty on the website and it looks like the only exclusion is if it's used commercially or if installed on a tricycle motored vehicle.

I will note that they consider Ride share as commercial so no tread-ware warranty for you if you are doing that.

I guess I never sat down and read through these. But I also think Costco/Americas Tire offer more protection than the manufacture does anyway.
