100%

If you wanted to store a large pizza box, where does it go? In the R1T, either the frunk or gear tunnel.

In the CT, in the bed of the truck. ?

(Not counting inside the passenger space, bc don’t want to stink up the space)
Well we know most of these folks won't have many friends so they could strap it to one of the many open seats in the CT.

Knowing Elon it will likely not come with a spare or anywhere to put a spare or even a fix a flat kit, but he will throw in a flamethrower or cyberspoon as consolation. :CWL:

In comparison, I personally am happy to trade the longer bed for a gear tunnel, spare compartment and larger frunk.
Yea .. the CT looks to be the LEAST functional day to day electric truck coming to the market. Just not a lot of useful day to day (not work truck) storage

Totally agree. And IMO the CT bed is not very useful even being longer. The front of it is inaccessible because of the sails on the sides and the rear is like putting your arms into a shark's mouth with all those sharp corners everywhere.

If the expected battery capacity is 120-140kwh (basically the same as Rivian), I am confident that the advertised range will be higher than Rivian's, but the rear world will be lower. My guess is advertised will be 350, real world will be low 300 or high 290s.

I heard Elon miles allow one to triple the actual range and state that as the “expected range”

I think a complaint to the FTC regarding false advertising may be necessary. ?

Elon has thought of this and the "near infinite towing" only applies while the cybertruck is bieng used as a boat in "relatively calm" waters.

The 6 foot bed is appealing but I can’t imagine any company making a reasonably priced camper shell for it. Roof top tent? Good luck, although I’m sure someone will come up with a way to mount one eventually. Having to choose between having the tonneau closed or being able to see out of the rear window just seems stupid. I think we should give it a chance before giving the Cybertruck too much crap - Rivian had its fair share of critics too - but that design renders the bed useless for many functions. It’s the only electric truck available with a 6 foot bed yet is somehow the least functional of them all.

I appreciate the R1T for what it is. It never claimed to be a “work truck”, though it is capable of it.

R1T is an adventure truck and exceeds at that.

Not sure what the CT is supposed to be… other than possibly stop bullets and arrows while carrying something in the bed

I for one can not wait till to see the first idiot on YT attempting to use his brand new CT as a boat and the look of utter shock on his face when it quickly sinks tot the bottom! "but Elon said......" :CWL:

You mean like French Bread pizzas?
Let me stop you right there before you get pizza shamed. It’s not a pizza if you can’t fold it, or if it’s not affectionately called a pie.
