The SS skin is bulletproof, against small caliber handguns. (i.e. .380, 9mm, 45ACP) What matters in this claim is at what velocity of a round does penetration begin at?

Someone will figure it out one day...

The first deliveries to Chicago will probably give us the first real world testing. Bullet resistant, maybe... proof, never.

I'll try to get a small sheet of 1/8" 300 series stainless and take it to the range in couple weeks. I'd like to know what caliber makes it through.

"uh yeah, Allstate? I've got some hail damage to my Cybertruck."

"That's correct, only on the doors."

I bet all bullets 9mm and larger get through from within 10 yards.

Maybe it’ll stop a .22 pellet haha

If I’m not mistaken, a bulletproof vest using steel plates have steel that is at least 5mm thick.

If the CT is 3mm thick, I have a hard time believing these “bullets” were at velocity.

But, I’ll be happy to see an idiot try on their own CT
Yeah but those plates are rifle rated. Theres a huge difference between a 9mm and a .308 rifle.
