Hopefully they will figure out a way to hold dealers to MSRP. If not then what's the point of reserving one. Might as well wait for 12 months post launch to walk in and pick one off the lot.

The price is really attractive. Not the best range but they make up for it with fast charging. I also really like the 6 seater option. Better for kids.

I keep hearing this kind of comment on the web about how the EV9 range is not the best. But, it’s literally the same range as the R1S small and large packs, and at a lower price.

So range and HP not super great. R1S base trim seems like a better buy if comparing upper trims of the Kia.

I'm guessing the EV9 will charge from 10%-80% twice as fast as the R1S small pack. Charging speed is the Kia's advantage. By the time this comes out NCAS chargers will be opened to Kia.

Is everyone here sniffing glue? This this is hideous. Kia makes some great looking cars, but this isn't one of them. The efficiency is awful. The range is terrible. And $73k!?! Seriously... GTFOH

The GT-Line will have 21 inch wheels. Hopefully that will incentivize tire manufacturers to develop some 21s for us who only have basically one option right now.

I don't understand why manufacturers underprice their vehicles which allows the gap between market value and manufacturer MSRP.

They should do more like Tesla. When the market says a Plaid is worth $120k....set MSRP at $120k and make the money at the cooperate level. When the market softens and says the Plaid is worth $90k...lower the MSRP to $90k.

The range of the smallest Rivian battery is not that great.

The large pack DM has better performance than the GT-line and has almost 50% more range (243 vs 340). That’s easily worth the extra $10,000 or so to me and probably most others who are looking at spending $75,000+ on a vehicle.

Also, the Light LR version that gets 300 miles is a RWD configuration. Not comparable to a Rivian at all.

The KIAs are nice and all, but they’re definitely not luxury.

Kia is luxury? I know they are nicer than they used to be, but I have trouble putting them in the luxury category. I know Rivian isn't as luxury as some of the more established luxury brands, but I have trouble believing Kia is ahead of it. And the Kia on road performance isn't the same as the Rivian's, if you believe the numbers.
