Ouch...that's definitely a dimpled darlin. I'd be surprised if it's not totaled as I doubt they can get to all the places where those dents are located. I saw on another post here that replacing that piece alone on one of the rear tires is about $40k

I just did some PDR on my hood and spoke to the guy that did it, and he mentioned to me that he moved up north for 6 months and stayed in a hotel to do PDR in an area hit heavily by hail. He said he had insurance companies booking him for months to get rid of the damage.

Although this looks bad, it's just going to be a lot of PDR.

Around here, where we get hail every spring, a bunch of PDR tents show up out of nowhere. I'm sure there is more than just PDR going on with yours because of the glass, but you might be surprised on the rest.

If they total it, you could always just buy it back, get the glass replaced and send it. Golf balls are more aerodynamic than ping pong balls or something anyway.

I still see a few dimpled vehicles in my area driving around from our hail apocalypse in 2013. They either did the buy back, or took a cash payout and never got the work done.

Here's a thought - bondo every dent, sand it smooth and then wrap the vehicle. ? ?

My buddy had his R1T hit during a hailstorm last spring - it was a bad year here in CO. His damage was more extensive than yours. It’s been over 4 months with every panel and glass being changed. It was not totaled by the insurance company.
