We all love the headlights but can we make it easier to have them shut off automatically when we are in park? Range if pretty good but do we need headlights to stay on when door is open and sitting while truck is in park? Or every time I walk past truck and doors unlock and headlights turn on again. It would be great to have an option to only have headlights turn on when driving puts in Drive. Maybe im wrong and headlights won’t drain batteries much and we need to use our headlights as much as possible to promote the brand. ?

As a frequent ferry rider in WA state I’m typically asked to “turn off your lights” after parking on the boat while still sitting in the vehicle. It would be nice to have them go off when the vehicle goes into park, or with a user selectable delay.

Headlights should not turn on unless you are in drive/reverse. If you are talking about the accent lighting and light bar... LEDs do not draw much power. The power savings from turning them off is insignificant. IMO, if you are worried about vampire drain and 12V battery consumption while parked... I'd say the battery in the mostly dormant/unused camp speaker is a wasted resource.

Didn't everyone immediately put the camp speaker on a shelf in the garage so it's in an easier location to swear at while trying to pair repeatedly? ?
(I also put my wireless charging mat on that same shelf, didn't help VD much)

I too would like a way to park without spotlighting bystanders.

Same on the ferrys, but I’m used to having to turn other EV headlights off while in park and the Rivian is much easier to do using a physical control than my old Teslas!

If you’re looking to sell the speaker, let me know. PO of our car kept it.

Just use the stalk to turn the lights off
I was about to go to the garage and check the same thing. It’s just a flick of a toggle switch on the left stalk to cycle thru and turn them off anytime isn’t it? If this is what people are complaining about then those people will never be happy.

I also wish you could leave them on. I wanted to use the lights to light up an area I was working on at night, but even if you set the lights to on they shut off after about a minute.

My vote is for lights to be off when the truck is placed in park

I would like to see this flood light option in the access and security page as well
