I'm seeing more and more in the Bay Area. I've seen a Launch Green, Blue, White and Limestone R1Ts in my neighborhood and when in SF yesterday I saw a white R1S in the wild.

Rivians are incredibly popular in Seattle and I don't see the demand going down any time soon.

Meanwhile I’ve seen more Rivians in the past week than i have in the year prior. And they don’t even sell to our state anymore

Rivian numbers are exploding in Austin. There's even a matching blue one that I see at the Elementry school dropoff every morning.

You should come visit Central Oregon, Seems like Rivians are now the norm here as I see at least 2/3 daily

$7,500 off EQ models here. They are not selling and the only MB model on sale with handfuls to choose from.

They are delivering elsewhere as they are selling all they can make. Remember 88% of us don’t live in California.
LITERALLY.... are you trying to tell me that there are 88% of the people that don't talk with a Valley Accent? OH.... MY GOD

Lately, I have noticed increased uptake for new EVs from these makes/models.

- EQS
- EQS SUV
- F150 Lightning
- Lucid Air
- ID.4

When new models come out, people in SoCal are quick to uptake the vehicles.

Early days, we had seen many of Rivians but lately, the frequency of Rivian's on the road has not increased. Neither have Tycans, e-Trons (all variants, including GT), or Model S/X Plaid models.

What I see the most is EQS and EQS SUV increasing on the road significantly.

Nothing scientific but it's not a good indication to see little to no increase of R1 on the roads for the company. Perhaps Rivian is delivering much higher numbers outside of SoCal.

Between the frequencies of seeing make/model, and number of paper temp plates, generally speaking it is a good indicator of what vehicles are selling from SoCal samplings.
I don't agree. I received my R1S earlier than communicated, and I see more and more of them on the road everyday! Having said that, Rivian also has another platform to launch, plus other automakers are getting ready to launch their offerings in the wild. Don't let Mercedes fool you, they have a lot of work to do on their EV line as it full of issues.

What an unbelievably arrogant OP.

Here is my anecdote to share. I'm seeing more R's pop up in the area of the nations capital. Saw 2 R's while running a 20min errand to Lowes and back.

I agree. I see 1-4 Rivians every day, more than any other EVs except for Teslas.

Here is a recent report that indicates Rivian is the best selling EV in Colorado now outside of Tesla.

Those of you who live elsewhere than SoCal, or never have lived in SoCal, have no idea of magnitude and the breadth of all makes and models.

I see probably on an average commute, half a dozen R1S/T combined. Not saying that it's selling. What I am saying is that the growth/uptake trajectory has slowed down compared to other vehicles I'd originally listed. You can think of it like how some make EV has increased 90%, but in real numbers, its few thousands.

It's also not meant to sound arrogant about where I live. I've lived in NY/NJ/TX/MI in addition to CA (both NoCal and SoCal) and traveled extensively around the country for work over the years. You don't have to agree - it's just a fact that SoCal is the car capital of the world. There are more cars and truck in SoCal than any other single region (thanks to crappy public transit). Most automakers turn to SoCal for trends and use it as a test market for vehicles. They also have design studios here (almost all makes globally).

Glad you are seeing more Rivians on the road. It's the trajectory that I mentioned and trend is not as good as some of the others.

I live in south Orange County and see ever-increasing numbers of R1 vehicles. R1Ts are still more common in my experience. Last week on a less than 30-minute drive I saw 4 different R1Ses (is that the correct plural of R1S?) which struck me as very encouraging since I’m still waiting for ours.

No, in south OC. And I commute to Pomona couple of times a week. I also drive to Santa Monica and San Diego couple of times a month.

When I say SoCal, for the purpose of my original post, it's based on observation driving from Malibu to Coronado, and Newport to Redlands. I drove to and from Palmdale couple of weeks ago.
