Lately, I have noticed increased uptake for new EVs from these makes/models.

- EQS
- EQS SUV
- F150 Lightning
- Lucid Air
- ID.4

When new models come out, people in SoCal are quick to uptake the vehicles.

Early days, we had seen many of Rivians but lately, the frequency of Rivian's on the road has not increased. Neither have Tycans, e-Trons (all variants, including GT), or Model S/X Plaid models.

What I see the most is EQS and EQS SUV increasing on the road significantly.

Nothing scientific but it's not a good indication to see little to no increase of R1 on the roads for the company. Perhaps Rivian is delivering much higher numbers outside of SoCal.

Between the frequencies of seeing make/model, and number of paper temp plates, generally speaking it is a good indicator of what vehicles are selling from SoCal samplings.

They are delivering elsewhere as they are selling all they can make. Remember 88% of us don’t live in California.

I'd say it's just the opposite here in CO. I do see those other EVs out there too, but I see more Rivians than Ford Lightnings in the course of a week here in Boulder County.

I rarely see lightnings here in SE Michigan. I see more Rivians. I'm a bit on the northern outskirts of the burbs.

Actually the non-Tesla EVs that I see the most are the Hummer EVs... couple of the engineers live in my area and they drive around a lot. We all know how well their sales are going though.

I see Rivians all the time. The only Lightning I've seen was last November in Boise. Lots of ID4s too.
No Lucids and MBs.
A lot of it comes down to local market preferences

I’m in South Florida and I’ve seen 1 lightning. Do see the occasion EQS and surprisgly I see R1T’s every other day or multiple times a day. I’ve only seen Lucids in West Palm Beach and no where else.

Probably why they needed that 2nd hub. One in Laguna and one in Venice. Need to keep the SoCal sales going....

No disrespect to the OP, but it seems a stretch to draw any meaningful conclusions from what you see in your local area. To draw conclusions, it would be more meaningful (at least to me) to cite sales quantities on a national level.... just my $0.02

I have not seen a Lightning on the road in my area. The number of Rivians continues to increase. My wife just sent me a picture of a new R1S where she works.

I don't recall specifically, but either here or on Reddit isn't somone tracking deliveries by vehicle registration data?

I'll echo what others have said: Rivian's all day long in Seattle. One Lighting, one Hummer, and one Lucid. Tons of ID.4, etc.

ICE only :(
Doesn't California still have a significantly stricter fleet average emissions standard, thus prompting traditional manufacturers to send a very high % of their available EVs and PHEVs to California?

In north ATL suburbs, I have seen a few Rivians, maybe 1 or 2 EQS, no Lightnings (although my wife knows someone who owns one, I haven't seen it myself), maybe 1 Ioniq in this area (saw one out of town), maybe 1 ID.4, and no Lucids. I do see a TON of white Teslas every day though.

Edit: Oh, I saw my first Hummer EV yesterday.

“I’ve seen other EV’s therefore Rivian is done for” is a weird topic for a Ted talk but okay, I’ll bite…
