It didn’t add anything tho. This was before the schedule charge, and I only added 49kWh over the course of 6 hours… I’m on a 50amp breaker.

how many have gotten the new update? I had a tech out today and he said that he force pushed it to my truck but that it has to pre stage. he showed me he laptop and at the time it was at 6%. still dont have the option to update 2 hours later.

Mine dowloaded and installed without issue, four days ago.

The Normal IL factory is designed for 150k unit production annual with ability to expand. The proposed Georgia plant is larger. How many guides do you think they’d need to keep up? They already can’t satisfy their small number of initial deliveries. It is not scaleable. It’s so obviously not scaleable.

I completely disagree. It's not at all obvious to me that it's not scalable. My guide was great but clearly that's not everybody's experience, so I'll sidestep whether it's actually being run well today. But the program should pretty easily be able to scale up to 150k deliveries per year. Assuming that a guide can support 5 deliveries per week, that's 250 per year per guide which means you need 600 guides. I actually think that's likely a very conservative estimate and guides could probably support 10-15 deliveries per week, which puts you at 200-300 guides for 150k vehicles per year.

I haven't listened to any of Rivian's quarterly earnings calls, but presumably they'd be in the $10-12B per year in revenue range at that sales volume. Managing a 300-600 person contact center sales support operation is well within the realm of reason for a company with $10B in revenue.

If Rivian was taking a traditional approach to distribution through dealer showrooms, nobody would be saying "It's so obvious that there's no way you can scale up to 600 salespeople at 50 dealerships around the country".

Mine took about an hour. The notes said it was an 80 min install.

Any progress on yours? Mine seems stuck on 77% as well, started the update about 90 minutes ago.

Mine was stuck on 99 for a while. Went out to truck, it unlocked, screens came on. I got in. Software version on info screen said unknown. 60 seconds later screens changed. Showed 99% and then the finished message. Clicked later on seeing the changes and it was done. Phew.
