My own MagSafe charging pad with Rivian Logos :) STL attached for 3D print

Print face up, the logos come out better. Used ABS as it's more heat resistant than PLA. I don't have any TPU, but maybe a good option.

Did you prototype with the item extending the full depth of the stock mat? I would think having a flat surface would be better than a ledge ~1" from the pocket. I was curious if this was tried?

I'll try that when I have time.

With MagSafe chargers installed. I'll be using some double-sided tape on the back to keep the pad from lifting and sliding.

To clarify, I think the pocket should remain accessible/usable... Just saying the flat portion should cover the existing pad flat portion (basically go right up to the pocket)

I assumed that it's short to allow phones with camera bumps to lay flat. If it went all the way to the pocket, would there be enough room left for the camera bump to slot in over the pocket?

Not sure. Someone will have to test that. My phone camera does not extend below my case, and sits flat on a table.

You wouldn't happen to have a scan of the storage area in front of the camp speaker, would you?
Would like to open up fusion360 and try to model some cup holders, tissue box holder, and small trash can in that area for those of us whose Significant Other's would be proud

Really appreciate this design. I wasn't a fan of the commercial alternative since it extends over the "pocket" near the front. Had to dial in my ABS settings but it seems to be printing like a champ rn.

That looks great. I applaud your creativity and ingenuity. Not to mention your generosity for sharing your work. Well done. My Pixel 7 does ok on the stock charger but this looks perfect for those with magsafe and phones with charging challenges in the rivian. i think i need a 3d printer now though just so i can be prepared for whatever creative solution comes along.

Huge help, thanks. At your next free opportunity to do so, could you get a scan of the charging pad area with the Rivian rubber mat removed, as well as the OEM wireless charging unit?
