I’d sell the R1T in a heartbeat if it meant getting a free cyber truck.Could be free and I still wouldn't be caught dead owning one.
It's a backup car for when we have to take something to service. I drive the Polestar and my wife takes the Volt. Regularly avoid using gas with it. We put less than 1500 miles on it last year. Right now, a family friend is borrowing it. She's never driven an EV before and I think she's becoming a convert. It's one of the reasons I kept it, so I'm glad we were finally able to help someone out. Most owners don'tSorry, yes it's a Volt though I don't see how that's better.
My Model 3 is a unicorn… over 4 years and the only service appointments were for a 12V battery replacement and cabin air filters. That’s why I’m holding on to it for a while longer (even though it’s out of warranty) until my R1T is ready. I hope the Rivian holds up nearly as well. This is a trap. My experience with Tesla has been a complete mess. The cars are unreliable and Tesla service is terrible. You couldn't give me another Model X if you paid me.
Totally agree. Plus he is for free speech which is a foundational cornerstone of my country. All the people who are against free speech should just move to China. His purchase of Twitter is a good thing in my book. He’s exposed how politically biased and anti free speech that company used to be. Downright anti American.I actually think Musk is a pretty cool guy, wish more public figures would actually just straight up say what they mean and put their money where their mouth is. If nothing else it’s entertaining and refreshing.
I love my Model Y. It’s one of the best engineered cars I’ve ever driven. Could suspension be softer and range be a little bit higher? Absolutely. However, for $50s to even mid $60s, I don’t think there’s a car that beats it. For a $45k cost basis, no brainer. Literally was on SlickDeals front page. Add to cart now, think later ?I'm a serious car guy who has owned a lot of cars. I still have a sizable collection. Our Model Y is one of the best cars I have ever owned. It just passed 100k miles (it is a family favorite, it Is usually the 1st car picked) with nothing ever done to it except tires.
Remarkable.
Ummmm.. Rivian vehicles are much more reliable right? And their Service Centers are awesome too? This is a trap. My experience with Tesla has been a complete mess. The cars are unreliable and Tesla service is terrible. You couldn't give me another Model X if you paid me.
Yeah lol. I have both, and if he has heartburn with Tesla for those issues, wait until he is driving a Rivian!!Ummmm.. Rivian vehicles are much more reliable right? And their Service Centers are awesome too?
Hopefully people won't be spouting that kind of nonsense about Rivian s00n too, because honestly Rivian is not off to a stellar start including many non-forced errors.
Could have sworn several things in Enhanced used to be included or much less additional cost. So to get a car with decent driver assist, you have to pay $6k and lose the tax credit then...These prices did not change.
