Delivery is not the same as production?New to this forum. My impression is that R1T VIN is already at 14000 plus. Why does new vehicle have VIN 13000? Thank you.
Not uncommon.Maybe, but more than 1500 difference?
At current production rates (which both of those would fall into) that might be 3-4 weeks. It's totally feasible that a truck could sit in the parking lot at the factory for a week or two before getting loaded on a train/truck, spend another week in transit, spend another 2-3 weeks at an overworked service center before final vehicle prep.Maybe, but more than 1500 difference?

That is very possible, based on their 3rd quarter build number they were doing about 566 a week on average. 4th qtr should be much higher so that could be 2 weeks of builds. Hard to say what order they come off the lot or how long they are in transit based on where they are delivered. Hard to say what ones will get rework after QC inspections.Maybe, but more than 1500 difference?
A lot of time build quality is subjective.Don't fret over not having the most current vin. I've seen people with vin's way higher than mine that have much worse build quality.
Your going to love it. Get ready to engage prema grin.Thank you.
They are presumably serialized in order, but not produced that way. This is pretty typical due to how serial numbers are assigned. The vin thing is a bit misleading. They do not strictly produce vehicles with consecutive vins. Loosely yes, but it’s really more a guide
