I don’t really use Sport mode when driving, so I set sport mode to “lowest” ride height and it remembers that. So whenever I’m about to park, I hit the Drive Mode icon and select Sport and it adjust to lowest. Not ideal, but it works. When I remember to do it…

So glad the latest update now remembers Driver+ settings. Follow distance default to max vs. min drove me crazy! Now if they’d only allow min to be just a little closer (I still have issues with people cutting in), and changing max speed to 90mph vs. 85 I’d be even more happy. Supporting automatic lane change via turn signal similar to Tesla would be the coup de grace!

As with others, the cold will arrive soon - and with it snow on nearby mountain passes - easy access to steering wheel heat, maybe automatic+automatic seat heat with sufficient cabin heat needed; preheat before departure; a true snow mode; bonus for an ice mode.

Yesss.

I'd also like them to get live station info from EA AND fix their EA reference to show EA has 350kw chargers.

It'd be nice for them to get back to improving charging by upping the amperage limit to 600A with some Ea stations and EVGO stations apparently providing that now, as well as reducing the frequency of the "charging slower while cooling" warning.

Still waiting for that data/need dashboard.

i'd like the app to tell me if any of the doors etc. are open. I put the truck in the garage after cleaning it and charged to 70%.....the next day i had lost about 5% - with the door open the cabin was being kept at 73 degrees for a good 16 hours. Yes my mistake - but.......

I'm just going to add another vote for carplay/aa, I know they don't want to add it, but man it would make a lot of things easier.

I'd also really like more regen settings so like in low traction/snow but still on a road it's easier to manage 'coasting'. You don't want to brake hard on slick surfaces like default regen. Also I'd prefer to be able to set throttle maps individually, I want to use sport but it's so janky how clunky the throttle movement is you hit one bump and now you're accelerating and braking.

Just... don't lift your foot off the accelerator so much

I asked about a snow mode at the Denver RSC last week, and was told that one was in the works and might be called Ice Mode.

Santa's Sleigh Mode. Rudoph Mode. Fresh Tracks. Could care less what they call it, just please bring it sOOn.

It's a bad system to deal with someone in a panic. If you're about to lose control or go off the road the fine motor control in your foot is probably not at the level you want to finesse the pedal into coasting.

In a regular car just lifting off is something a reasonable driver can do to stabilize it. I'm not in favor of adding extra workload to an emergency scenario.

This is my "small" wishlist
  • Better association of driver PaaK to the vehicle, when multiple drivers are entering vehicle
  • I would LOVE to see WaaK, as well
  • Spotify assigned to the driver profile, not entire vehicle
  • USB-C Audio PLEASE
  • Charging, departure time, and preconditioning control from the app
  • Gear guard video access from the app, even if it’s fee-based
  • Ability to see what doors & windows are open from the app
  • Blindspot camera view on the driver or center display, when changing lanes
  • Side-view mirror tilting option when in reverse
  • Plugshare and Waze integration to the Rivian Navigation system

Well, we should be coming up on the monthly OTA. My remaining high priority items are:

  • Manual preconditioning for fast charging.
  • Dashcam functionality.
  • A more elegant implementation of gear guard.
  • Alexa stability enhancements.
  • blind spot camera views
Would also like to see some more progress on vampire drain and added clarity on fast charge curve enhancements.
